Nic Lawrence joined the leadership team in July 2008. He oversees ministry to children and teens. Nic has a degree in chemistry from Purdue University and is currently working on a Master of Arts in Religion through Cincinnati Christian University. Caitlin, Nic’s wife, is in the School of Veterinary Medicine at Purdue University. Nic and Caitlin share their home with Sophie, their scruffy Irish Terrier. Laura Smith became the director of Sonshine Preschool in 2003. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education with a Kindergarten endorsement from Purdue University, continues taking courses through Indiana Wesleyan University, and holds an Indiana State Teaching License. Laura and her husband, Dan, live in Tippecanoe County with their two children.
